Humanitarian Impact - CBN Myanmar

CBN Myanmar

Humanitarian Impact

The widespread impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is increasingly being felt in the lives of people across the country. CBN partners with local churches to help and support communities whose families are struggling; losing their work, facing economic hardship and in need of basic health care and education.

Community Development Programs

CBN initiates long-term programs such as agriculture and income generation for beneficiaries to earn sustainable income.

Village Health Care

Providing health services to more than 1,000 people from 6 remote areas that are not easily accessible by public health services.

School of Life

The School of Life program was launched to equip churches as a place for children to grow and continue to learn during this pandemic. This year more than 3,000 children from 5 locations, Yangon, Shan State, Kachin State, Mandalay and Bago Division had the opportunity to continue their studies and pursue their dream.

School of Life bring a great opportunity to learn

My father was sick for almost 2 years, so my mother had to work to get income. She used to sell flowers and I often helped her. I am very happy this summer, even though the school is not yet open I can learn English in the School of Life class. I also learned Bible stories, dancing and singing which made me happy.

Hope for Tomorrow Campaign

The Hope for the Tomorrow Campaign was launched to help comfort traumatized children in this difficult situation by distributing thousands of character pillow.

Thank you, whenever I have a bad dream, I hug the character pillow so I can go back to sleep. Now I feel like I have a friend who accompanies me.”, Htet Wai Yan Aung, 10 years, Yangon.
